Practical cyber security training

We invite you to the FREE practical cyber security training on 10 April!

The one-day course will help participants understand the main threats in the digital space, learn how to protect company data and IT infrastructure, identify fraud schemes and gain practical knowledge on how to protect themselves from financial and reputational losses.

The training will be led by: Prof. Dr. Marius Laurinaitis, an expert with many years of experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology regulation.

During the training, participants:

  • Understand why even small businesses are targeted by cyber attacks.
  • Learn about phishing schemes, ransomware, malware and how it spreads.
  • Learn how to identify and prevent social engineering attacks.
  • Learn how to apply simple but effective security measures.
  • Learn about secure online payments and protecting customer data.
  • Understand how to build a culture of cyber security in your business.
  • Learn the latest trends: how artificial intelligence is being used to commit fraud.

Important:

  • The training will take place live at the Marijampolė Tourism and Business Information Centre “SMART Marijampolė”, Vytauto 17, Marijampolė.
  • The number of participants is limited to 25-30 participants.
  • In order for your registration to be confirmed and your participation in the training to be covered by the project, you must meet the following criteria:
  • The company must not be in financial difficulties.
  • The company must have a physical presence in Western and Central Lithuania.
  • In order to verify the company’s eligibility and to be able to register the State aid, the following documents must be completed:
    – Declaration of a single enterprise,
    – SME declaration,
    – Consent for services received.

The training is partly funded by the European Union project “Industry 4.0 Lab Platform: DI4LithuanianID”.

Training time 13:00-17:00, 2 breaks of 15 minutes each.
